  • Cooperative Leadership Issues in Wildland/Urban Interface Operations
  • Introduction to Wildland and Wildland/Urban Interface Firefighting for the Structural Company Officer

Course Cost: $80.00
Please make your checks payable to: WVU Fire Service Extension, we accept credit cards. If paying by credit card, please include the card information listed on the following page . Payment MUST accompany ALL registrations. If you do not enclose payment your application will be returned.

Meals:
Meal fees include breakfast, lunch, and steak cookout at the cafeteria on Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday.

Lodging:
Lodging is furnished at no cost (unless you’re registering as an industrial brigade member – in this case call to check on the fee you should bring).

Applying:
Please review the description sheet , complete the NFA application , have your CHIEF sign it, and return it to us with your payment, no later than September 1, 2011. Please make sure to include a 2nd and 3rd choice class.

Late Cancellations/No Shows:
If a student is unable to attend a course, he/she must notify the State Coordinator, in writing, 30 days before the course start date. A student who cancels within the 30 days of the course start date will be restricted from attendance by NFA. To remove the restriction, the student’s supervisor must send a letter explaining the cancellation. A student who does not cancel attendance in writing will be denied admission for the next 24 months.

Please note the DRESS CODE continues: NO T-shirts, shorts, blue jeans, sandals, ball caps, etc. in class.

Students are encouraged to bring a laptop with them for classes. NFA will no longer be giving out manuals. Students will be given CDs.
