Aircraft Rescue Firefighting
The Aircraft Rescue Firefighting program is a very intense hands-on class that will require participants to expose themselves to live fire exercises in very realistic situations. This training is being presented for municipal airport fire fighters and other fire departments in the region.
Mobile Fire Training Unit
The two-story, 53-foot-long Mobile Fire Training Unit challenges firefighters with smoke, flames, sights, sounds and obstacles of commercial and residential structural fires. The safe system is controlled from an observation room by a lead instructor who can shut down the operations and ventilate the units interior within 45 to 60 seconds. Environmentally sound, the Mobile Fire Training Unit is fueled by clean-burning propane. It generates benign smoke that does not disturb the community.
